As everyone knows, we don't shy away from difficult or controversial subjects. If people are interested in a topic, we let them talk.

The same philosophy underpins the ODwire.org Radio Show; we invited Dr. Ohlson because his thread on ARBO had blown up over the past week, with thousands of viewers and spirited discussions.

Paul has also extended offers to folks on the opposite side of the issue who we thought would want to tape a show with us. So far, no response, but again, we'll always keep the door open! (our only requirement for these shows is that they are interesting )

My job is to ensure even-handedness to the best of my ability (except on the topic of rotisserie chickens. Costco's are clearly superior.)

But fool me a third time? What can you say?
The AOA leadership is determined to estrange its members.

First the Board Certification fiasco in 2009 where the AOA slipped faux board Certification over the objections of the vast majority of its members. The results were a minority of loyalists became board certified but the initiative is languishing and an embarrassment to the profession.

Then in 2012 the AOA leadership decided to attempt a takeover of continuing education. The initiative failed thanks to the efforts of Dr Michael Ohlson guest on ODwire.org. It is worth your time to listen or re-listen.

In four short years the AOA did not learn their lesson but is trying to take over continuing education again. If they succeed it will be a debacle. After listening to the ODwireRadio/Podcast feel free to comment on the topic underway...
