Palmyra optometrist loses license for illegal prescription scheme

Harrisburg -- A Palmyra optometrist has been suspended for a minimum of 10 years by the Pennsylvania Board of Optometry for illegally prescribing oxycodone, Pennsylvania's Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs announced Wednesday.

yup, it looks like another case of opiate addiction gone wrong. I wonder how many docs don't seek treatment b/c they are worried about their license.
