In this exclusive CEwire2021 presentation by Dr. Craig Thomas,

We learn about the therapeutic application of red and near-infrared light to treat meibomian gland dysfunction, blepharitis and chalazion.

Emphasis is placed on reviewing cell metabolism and the mitochondrial respiratory chain, the biochemical mechanisms of action for energy-based treatment and the biological effects of light-based therapy.

Multiple case reports and treatment protocols are presented using photobiomodulation as the primary treatment option.

Right -- that's an important point. I'm re-posting a few of the CEwire2021 lectures if I get permission from the speakers (because the content is so good!), but credit cannot be issued outside of a controlled environment like CEwire.
