Are not multi-purpose solution suppose to sterilize the contacts? How can you culture bacteria from a case that has sat overnight with a multi-purpose "disinfecting" solution? Does the study analyse what kind of solution the patient is using?

Are the patients simply "topping off" the case with solution?

I don't understand how 66% of contact lens cases can have bacterial contamination when the patient is using a disinfecting solution. Sounds like a solution problem.
