CEwire2020 Returning Live May 30 & 31 *and* June 27 & 28

Therefore, I would be interested in CEWire should it be available “live” in Q4 2020. Probably lots of others will be in a similar situation.

For our loyal followers on ODwire.org...Advance notice.

Block out 8/23/20 and 8/24/20...10/17/20 and 10/18/20...11/14 and 11/15/20...12/12/20 and 12/13/20 on your calendar. A special thank you to CEwire2020 presenters for allowing to continue there 64 hours until the end of the year.

Yeah, like Paul mentioned, we've made the decision to run the program 5 more times -- June (which was going to be the end, until ARBO changed course), August, October, November, December.

This means that in states which are sticking by ARBO's rule change, conceivably you could meet your entire CE requirement for this cycle at CEwire2020.

And just as a reminder, your CEwire2020 "Pass" is good no matter when you purchased it -- you can attend as many live events as you want this year.

IE, some people signed up for CEwire2020 way back last November (!) -- their logins are still valid. Feel free to come on back for the rest of the year. We're trying to pack as much value as we can for folks since this year has been so difficult in so many ways.

And as they say on TV commercials "There is more!".

Our sponsors that have booths are also getting more than their money's worth. If VEW and AAOpt cancel their shows, CEwire2020 is the game in town to sell products. You should get some tremendous deal.

Is this anyway to run a business? We think so! ;)

Keep those noses to the grindstone, make hay cause the sun is shinning on your farm. Good stuff!

Keep posting this stuff on LinkedIn too. You need more attendees. More is better.

I think by extending the rule change, ARBO is signaling that the availability of in-person CE is going to be minimal for the rest of 2020. My personal take is that most people won't want to get on a plane until next spring (Expo East, SECO, etc...)

I could use a vacation, but ... you are correct, we are in a position to help people looking for credits.

If anyone would like to help the effort, the best thing anyone can do to help is to reach out to other ODs in your state & make them aware of the conference. We obviously have a big audience on ODwire.org, but still about 1/2 of all eligible ODs are outside of our (inexpensive) marketing reach here. So any help is appreciated.

Should that be 8/22 and 8/23?
Thanks!

Another live CEwire2020 weekend is history.

We had a robust attendance and a surprising number of new sign ups over the week end.

How did we do?

Any improvement to be considered for the Autumn final CEwire2020 series?

The final four shows to close out the year at the end of summer and the fall (august/october/november/december) will see a bit of change -- we're going to add a few new talks to supplement the existing ones, and update a few of the more time-sensitive talks (who knew the conference would be running this long!)

The big question next is -- what is going to happen with Vision Expo West and AAO in the fall?

Remember one fee for all 4 shows. Our field moves so quickly that even a few months makes some information out of date. We know.....we’ll update.

You did well. The fact that the presenters are there and ready to answer questions is cool. In fact, shout out to Dr. Melissa Barrnett (sp?) as she requested that I email her with my question as she did not have the answer and she replied immediately with the answer. She is a pro.

All of our speakers LOVE the interaction and aim to please. They are all true Pros. In fact with the huge turnout at CEwire2020.com because of all conferences and meetings being canceled the interaction is very active. The speakers to a person enjoy the large amount of people listening to their lectures

If you want the conversation to continue and have additional questions or comments, I can pass along the questions. The OD presenters can interact directly on ODwire.org.

For the OMDs and PhDs who do not have access to our forums, send me the questions and I'll pass them on.
